2-13-2014 The 9th Circuit just overturned the ban on carrying firearms
outside the home in California. This clears the way to allow all lawful and
sane Americans to carry firearms on their person per the 2nd Amendment to
    the constitution.

Imagine if all the money spent on gun control campaigns, legislation, and
ads was put towards medical equipment or research. I think they would have
saved a few more lives over the years… Dumb Bastards

Take police involved shootings (where the police are the shooters) out and
    the stats are MUCH smaller.

“I’m wearing a gun now, and not shooting anybody”. What happens if you have
a mental breakdown? You won’t? You don’t know that, and more importantly we
don’t know that. Curtis Reeves was a retired Police Chief in Florida who
murdered a popcorn wielding father who was texting his daughter’s
babysitter in a movie theatre. Before the shooting, Reeves was a “good guy
with a gun”. He wore a gun and wasn’t shooting anyone with it…that is,
until he did shoot an unarmed man with it. Now, after the fact, Reeves is a
“bad guy with a gun”. See?

Mike Adams “as long as they are in the hands of law abiding citizens”.
That’s why you need a gun register & licencing ensures that guns are in the
hands of “law abiding citizens”. Murder rates USA 5.0 per 100,000; Canada
1.8; Aust. 1.2; New Zealand 1.5; UK 1.2 and firearms make up 2/3rds of
    these.

Actually gun deaths in the USA are over 30,000
    http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/united-states
the pro gun lobby discount suicides in this (about 60%) but I would argue
that by making suicide easier it will mean there are more.
Sorry but Effective Gun Control SAVES LIVES.

Must watch video! This video shows exactly the reasons why the 2nd
amendment must be upheld. It shows the importance of the 2nd amendment in
relationship to all of our other amendments. And how gun control is
    actually an illegal act.

The 5th amendment is already being violated because in the southern states
they don’t even use a grand jury to indict american citizens therefore
felonizing and taking one’s right to own a firearm !!!! WAKE UP !!!!!
states that are doing this are GEORGIA,FLORIDA,S. CAROLINA, & ALABAMA.

Very good, informative, and no-nonsense on this significant topic where
propaganda has diluted common sense, if it ever existed anyway, of many an
unthinking American. My hat’s off to the gentleman on the show, for his
efforts to put it together. Much appreciate it. I shared it on my FB wall.

Yeah that’s right papersplease, any gun owner could have a ‘mental
    breakdown’.
And the Hoover dam could too.
And if a nuke plant has a ‘ breakdown’, what then.
Them big trucks, they could have a brake failure.
What about all the knife owners? Hmm. …
Papers. . maybe you are threatened by anything larger than it is wide.

Reeves… well I guess ‘respect your elders’ is what we can take away from
    that.

The problem with stats is police assault and kill more people than citizens
with guns do , it’s what makes having weapons dangerous

As for the woman who lost her husband, I am truly sorry. I lost my husband
to gun violence, BUT he could have been saved if ONLY background checks
were required for private sales. The guy who shot him would NEVER have
passed a background check, BUT he could easily go to a gun show and buy
from a private sale (Non-dealer). And he did….. My husband was a
trained USMC vet, as am I. And DO NOT tell me “he should have had a gun.”
We were not able to legally have a gun in the house, I have a mental
disability and he had PTSD. Neither of us could have passed a background
check, for a reason. The shooter had PTSD, and was in a manic/episode (IE
    not fully mentally there).

I DO NOT support bans, but we do need to try harder to keep guns out of the
wrong hands. And this includes children who have “access” to parents guns.

There is two problems with the term “assault rifle” and the ban on said
weapon. First of lets pick apart the worlds. Assault. And action. Rifle. A
noun. That means that I could literally pick up a rock,(a noun),and assault
you with it,(an action or verb),and that rock becomes an assault rock. Same
with a ball peen hammer. If I use this tool to assault you it is
immediately an assault weapon. A spear can be an assault weapon and in its
time it was the “assault rifle” issued to every soldier. Everybody had a
spear,(or a sword or a bow),in his home to not only protect his family from
threats from his neighbors but also threats from a foreign invading army.
The safety of the land was in the hands of every law abiding citizen and
they were all armed. Now times change. In the colonies under England a
musket is used for hunting and protection from raids from neighboring
Indian tribes. Eventually the government became a huge threat to the
people’s way of life and thus we took up arms against a tyrannical
government that threatened our way of life and our families. Fast forward.
1866. The civil war ends and the south passes anti-black gun legislation
barring blacks from owning weapons. Whites are not barred this right which
leads to the blacks not being able to defend themselves. Back then the
musket was an “assault rifle” as it was used as a weapon to use against
your enemies. 1918 the Springfield is a “assault rifle”. 1943 the M1Garand
is an “Assault rifle”. 1963 the M16 is an “assault rifle”. When you talk
about banning just assault rifles how can you expect me to take you
seriously when at one point or another ALL weapons were considered assault
weapons and were used as military grade weapons? And in reality you are not
for Gun Control. Because you need guns to take away guns from the people
who refuse to give them up. You are not demanding that all gun use be
abolished you just want guns to be privatized into the hands of an elite
group. So in reality you are not anti gun. In fact you are very pro gun.
Before your rants begin please at least think about what I said. And before
any of you chastise me for referencing past dictatorships and mitigate it
by saying it can’t happen here or it can’t happen today let me leave you
with this thought. How many Jews do you think said that? How many Armenian
Christians do you think said that? How many Russians do you think said
that? How many Koreans or Cambodians or Hungarians or Czechs or Polish do
you think said that? How many Chinese? How many Africans said this? This
has all happened in the past century. That is so much death for 100 years.
So instead of saying it can’t logically ask yourself Can it?

Blaming guns for the social problems of shootings like sandy hook is like
blaming needles for heroin addiction. The problem is the criminal justice
system that jails non violent pot smokers while letting violent criminals
off with a slap on the wrist. We do not care for the mentally ill or the
desperate poor. Lets fix the true problem, not the easy fix that does not
work. I will give up my firearm when the police go back to just the 38 and
the military get out of our police forces. I own an AR and I only use it at
the range. It is a sport. no more dangerous than many other sports.

Please remember if you allow the Government to ban firearms your local
Police Dept. will NOT be the ones coming to take your weapons. If you think
otherwise you are stupid because the Police Officers have more personal
    guns than ANYONE ELSE.

Americans have lost a fair amount of their gun rights. Examine the 1986
firearm protection act, or the 1968 gun control act, or the NFA act in
1934. Americans need to wake up and reduce restriction on our gun rights. I
would rather have multiple option with my gun than none. A select-fire,
full auto SMG such as the Mini Uzi would be ideal in a personal home
defense or urban defense situation. My point is that law abiding American
should be able to own whatever firearm they please without having to pay
burdensome fees, or other excessive regulations.
